Melissa Newcomb
PRESIDENT
Born and raised in Danville, Virginia. Melissa and her family moved to Florida for the warmth and opportunities that Jacksonville has to offer. She has a degree in Business Administration; and a minor in HR from Colorado Technical University.
Her career experience has been focused on business development, sales and process improvement for Fortune 100/ 500 corporations, small businesses, and entrepreneurs. After working in the local community, she noticed an admin gap in many businesses and a lack of systems support. She thought of a way to help fill that void by starting My Virtual Resources LLC. She has created a thriving business based on integrity and hard work. She is most proud of creating a team that enjoys helping those who see the benefit of outsourcing for help and making their business operations more efficient. Melissa is studying to become a licensed Realtor ® and loves networking, and golf within the Saint Johns County and Jacksonville communities.
In her free time, she loves helping others and spending time with her family by golfing, going to the beach, and wine tastings.
Jaida Harrigan
MARKETING SPECIALIST
Jaida is originally from the British Virgin Islands and later moved to Tampa, FL in 2017 to complete high school. She is a recent graduate from San Diego State University where she earned a B.S in Integrated Marketing Communications with Magna Cum Laude honors. During her collegiate career she obtained various internships and student leader positions that has developed her skills in marketing and administrative support. Jaida loves to travel and has visited approximately 5% of the world. She enjoys trying new cuisines, dancing and making memories with her loved ones.
Christine deng
MARKETING SPECIALIST INTERN
Christine is from the Bay Area, California, and is studying Data Science at UC San Diego, graduating in 2024. She also serves as the Marketing Director for the premier data science student organization on campus, and does graphic design for the Data Science department. Christine loves learning guitar, piano, and film photography in her free time.
Heather Lassiter
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Heather is originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin, and has ample experience in the hospitality industry. After getting a degree in Culinary Arts from Fox Valley Tech, she worked as a chef for the Green Bay Packers organization, PGA events, and backstage at concerts and music festivals. Heather also has experience as a hospitality coordinator at a law firm and inventory coordinator at a bridal registry store in Mississippi. While her roots are in Wisconsin, she relocated to St. Augustine, Florida. Heather has a strong, kindhearted daughter who plays soccer. She loves spending time at the beach, going to concerts, and traveling.
Kourtney dunlap
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Kourtney is from Jacksonville, Florida and graduated from Florida State College at Jacksonville in 2018. In 2021, she graduated from the University of North Florida, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Communication with honors. During her collegiate career, she worked as a social media content creator for NouVo Studio the Salon and participated in the creation of several research related projects. Kourtney enjoys all things Jacksonville Jaguars, Marvel, the Golden Girls, and spending time with her family.
